Every year all of Bretts side of the family go to hear the Tabernacle Choir and then to brunch at Little America on the Sunday before Chirstmas. It was fun this year. Brett and I sat with Landon, Lucy and Hyrum in the "quiet room" and let Justin and Lisa enjoy the choir for real. All the kids were so good! Land and Hy were leading the choir the whole time, meanwhile Lucy was passing out treats to them. Kept everyone happy! I have to say we had the cutest kids there! After that we did the annual stuffing oursleves till we wanted to barf at Little America. The kids even got to see Santa! All in all, it was worth getting dressed up for.

Christmas Time

I was so excited for Christmas this year, more excited than I ever even remember being. I started listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween. I don't know what made this year better than all the others, maybe just the fact that Landon is really starting to understand it all. Anyway Brett let me put up Christmas the very 1st week in December. He even put up the lights on the house for me and did an awesome job! Anyway I love Christmas!

This isn't that great of picture, but Land was tall enough to go on most the rides, even Space Mountain! (which was all done up for Halloween and even scared me) But Landon was a trooper!

So fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I love it all. The leaves, the pumpkins, the cool brisk air, football, Halloween. I truley love it all. (besides it's my birthday too!) So my cute husband decided like the week before my birthday that we were gonna go to Disneyland. So my cute momma, Landon, Brett and I spontaniously decided to drive to California, go to Disneyland for my birthday and drive back. We had it all planned out. We were going to get there in the evening, go to Midevil Times, go to Disneyland the next day, and drive back home the next. Needless to say it didn't quite work out that way... Our blazer overheated in Vegas, 6 hours and 600 dollars later, we were on our way to California. We missed Midevil Times, but it all worked out ok. We had a blast on my birthday, I got in free to Disneyland, and it was so fun being there with Bretto, Land and my mom.

The Jazz Bear

The Jazz Bear repelled off of the tower at the beginging of the game.

Brett had to cover the Mascot Bowl at the high school so he got us tickets to go. Landon loved it! They had Mascots from all around Utah and some NBA and NFL ones too. There were all sorts of things going on the whole time. I always love watching the cheerleaders, Landon loved the marching band, and we both loved being able to hang out with Brett while he worked. The place was packed! I didn't realize what a big event it was, it was fun though.

Happy Anniversary!

My sweet hubby and I have now been married for 4 years!! I just wanted to take a minute to say how thankful I am to have such a wonderful husband. He really is amazing! He is always helping me out if not doing the majority of the housework! I am so lucky to have a husband who provides for our family and loves what he does at the same time. He is such a wonderful dad to Landon also. I am so greatful that I get to be with him for eternity! Thanks for putting up with me babe!

Landons First Day at Preschool

It was Landons 1st day of preschool today! He was SO excited. He had a blast on his first day. It was funny though we asked him what his favorite part of preschool was and he said. . . Playing with Hy Hy. Its so fun that he gets to go to preschool with his best buddy and cousin Hyrum.

Movie Time!

We took Landon to see G-Force in 3-D the other day. It was alot of fun! We went early in the day, so it was just us and and another family. Landon was squealing the whole time! It was a fun adventure!

Foam Days

Lehi had its first annual "Foam Days" on the 24th of July. The fire department got put in charge of it, so Brett got to be the guy who was spraying the foam. All the kids (and adults) loved it! Landon thought he was pretty cool trying to help Brett spray the foam. It turned out to be a real fun day!

Land decided the fireworks were a little loud and wanted his daddy to cover his ears.

We decided last minute to try and get tickets and go to Stadium of Fire, since Brett found out he didn't have to help cover the Lehi fireworks this year. We thought it was really fun. Landon was so excited and has a blast, until he realized how loud the fireworks were. Over all Stadium of Fire was fun. (afterward, not so much. Our car got towed!)

Fourth of July Parade

The Fourth of July Parade was so fun! We found the perfect spot to sit the day before. It was right by one of best friends, Heidi, and her family. We had plenty of room so we sat with my mom and dad and Justin, as well as Bretts parents. It was a really good parade! It was especially fun see Morgan with her UVU cheer squad, Kalyn marching with her pipe band and we also got to see both of Bretts little brother marching with the AF band. It was a fun morning.

We started off the holiday weekend by having a BBQ with my family at my mom and dads house. It was so fun! We made our own shishkabobs. My dad is always so creative! It was a blast! No fun that he got called out to a house fire before we got to eat, and didn't get back till really late!
